If you are feeling the urge to get organized, don't resist! As you're going through closets and drawers, we'd love if you could set aside any items that would help the annual church rummage sale. The sale isn't until May, but we wouldn't want you to throw away any good stuff between now and then! Contact Karen Kowalke or Polly Gammon with questions.

We’ll meet from 10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. every Wednesday in July – cost $8.00 per child (since there are only 3 Wednesdays this year) , $20.00 maximum per family. There will be puppets, music, Bible stories, skits, memory verses, crafts, food art, games, and a picnic (bring a sack lunch – treats and beverage provided) The theme this year is All Aboard … The Sonlight Express! We’ll ride the Sonlight Express over the Great Gorge, visit Fearless Falls, and go through the Merry Meadow and Timeless Tunnel and finally climb up Sonrise Summit. There will only be three Wacky Wednesdays this year because the Fourth of July falls on a Wednesday. Plan now to not miss a one! Registration will be on the Table under Calendar.

FIRM RSVP DATE is Sunday, February 26th. We need to have a week to plan drivers and food. Registrations after that date will not be accepted, but will be put on hold in case someone else cancels.

This event will be in place of our annual ski trip. We will resume the ski trip next year, as Andy will be done with school! Yay!!!

We've got a brand-new trailer to store the cans, so let's fill it up! Please bring in aluminum cans and drop them in the trailer. Please, no plastic bags, just the cans! And if you crush them first, we'll be able to fit more in and have more weight when we take it to recycling. Thanks to Dave Gerten and the work crew who assembled the trailer for us!

Waterbrooke will be having our first Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 23rd. We’ll need volunteers to help plan and prepare for the event. If you’re interested, contact Bruce Washington at Email Bruce or 612-414-8717. There will also be a sign-up sheet at Church, starting this Sunday.

Why collect aluminum cans and overlook all the other metal out there? We're going to start collecting other scrap metal. Don't throw out those old lawn chairs! If you get a new appliance, don't let them haul away your old one! How 'bout those old metal shelves you've been meaning to get rid of...don't....YET! Rehearsals for children in grades 3-6 on Sunday mornings 9:00- 10:15

Younger children will learn the songs during their Sunday School time.

Dress Rehearsal: Saturday December 18 from 9:00- 12:00

Performance: Sunday December 19th at 10:15 (during normal church service)

Delicious frozen pastries that are easy to thaw and bake! Great for holiday breakfasts, taking to a brunch, giving as gifts, etc. Many delicious flavors, including strawberry cream cheese, cinnamon, apple, raspberry, bleuberry cream cheese and Bavarian cream.

The church gets 40% of the sales, and this profit will be going into our parking lot fund.

The sale runs from now until November 14th. Nov 14th is the date people need to turn in their order forms with the checks to Karen Kowalke.

On Dec 5th, the orders will be available at the church for pick up. The items need to be kept frozen until you deliver them.

We will be having a fundraiser lunch on Sunday, October 17th right after the service. Menu is Sloppy Joe’s and hotdogs and fixings. Cost is $5.00/person or $12/family. Fundraiser is to cover the cost of treats each Sunday. Treats cost about $25/Sunday but donations have been short of costs.

From 6 AM to 7AM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings of every month women are invited to meet at the Farm House for a time of prayer for the church, our nation and our families. Will gather promptly at 6:00 and end at 7:00 spending the time solely in prayer. Please come. If you have any questions you can contact Ruth Skaggs at 952 470 6224.

Please bring your empty aluminum beverage cans to the church. We're going to collect them and sell them for aluminum recycling. Proceeds will go to the Parking Lot fund. It's easy.....DRINK.......RINSE.........CRUSH...........BRING TO CHURCH! On Sunday mornings, the collection containers will be in the front entry near the coat racks. Did you know that there is a prayer chain to pray for others in our congregation? All non-confidential prayer requests received during the Sunday service and those received during the week are sent out via email so that we can support our brothers and sisters in prayer.
